You've probably heard of the madcap Caparo T1. CAR drove the first example and was left pondering how one of the world's fastest cars was also one of the scariest. We got the reveal of the new Range Rover Evoque on Thursday night at Kensington Palace, and we were delighted to see that the production version has come through almost unchanged from the original concept. But it wasn’t actually a big surprise after the Range Rover Evoque spy photos we published showed a very similar silhouette to the original LRX Concept. The Kensington Palace reveal was about capping off Range Rover’s 40th Anniversary with a flourish; the way forward being the plan.
Audi wowed the crowd at CES with a new advancement in, of all things, headlights when it announced it would show a version of its Sport quattro laserlight Concept with laser beam headlights. Frickin' laser beams, as Dr. Evil once demanded on sharks (the good doctor ultimately had to settle for sea bass instead of sharks, but they still had laser beams).
